Anna Yarigo and Jose Vazquez are the new generation of dancers and teachers of Tango Argentino.

The style in which they dance is very individual, characterized by elegance and demonstrates their mutual passion for this dance. It was the result of all the positive experiences that they have absorbed, studying with the best teachers of both the old and new school of tango.

In their dance they combine traditional and new tango, while preserving the essence of Tango: "Embrace". That's why, watching the dynamism, elegance of movement and residence of feelings in the music of this young couple, the audience is literally dazzeled.

They are appreciated and respected the names of all there teachers: José Vazquez(his father), Alejandro Montini, Carlos & María Rivarola, Gustavo & Héctor Chidichimo, María Nieves, Ricardo Beloso, Julio Balmaceda & Corina de la Rosa, Rino & Haydee, Eduardo Cappuzzi & Mariana Flores, Graciela Gonzalez, Mariano Chicho Frumboli, Francisco Forquera, Martin Ojeda & Alejandra Mantiñan. Jose has been for many years an assistant of Alejandra Mantinan.

Distinctive feature of Anna and Jose as teachers is that they help each student to find their own style. For that a lot of attention is paid to the individual manner of leading, the accuracy of movements, a graceful “postura” and improvisation in dance. The way of teaching differs with easiness and accessibility for different levels of dancers, their workshops are characterized by a clear structure and well organization, and are accompanied by a good sense of humor and a warm atmosphere.

Having the ability easily and accessibly present difficult and complex material, Anna and Jose for several years have been working in various schools and festivals around the world. In addition, Jose has an experience as a screenwriter, director and producer of various tango shows in Argentina, “Tango, sentimiento porteño” with 22 dancers, as well as "International Festival of Tango in Padua. Anna is the first teacher of Argentine Tango in Minsk, where she’s been teaching for the last 5 years at school "Tangeta”. Together with Anna, Jose staged "Historias de Buenos Aires”, with 18 dancers on stage. Jose and Anna performed at International Theater in Frankfurt together with Orchestra CONEXIÓN TANGO.

Anna and Jose successfully performed at the national and international milongas. In Argentina: Palacio Sans Souci, Caesar park Hotel, Villa Malcolm Tango Club, Club "Sin rumbo", "La baldosa", "Viejo Correo", Confitería "La Ideal", Sheraton Hotel, Club Glorias Argentinas, Museo del tango, Club Italiano, Hotel Alvear, "Sunderland Club", "Salon Canning", "Tangocool", Teatro Colonial. In Europe: "Wuppertal Tango Festival-2009" (Germany), "Vilnius Tango Festival-2009/2010" (Lithuania), "Tangocamp-2009" (Ukraine), "Un Abrazo -2010" (Minsk). Also, Anna and Jose gave workshops in various cities in Germany, England, Holland, Italy, Belarus, Lithuania, Belgium, Spain and etc.

 

Ana and Jose already performed in the tanztheaterpasion production “Una noche en Buenos Aires” (2011) in Chur.
